Domaine Courbis Saint-Joseph 2023

Domaine Courbis Saint-Joseph is a northern Rhône Syrah from an appellation known for combining freshness, spice and regional character in a more approachable frame than Hermitage or Cornas.

Saint-Joseph runs along the western bank of the Rhône River, its steep granite slopes producing reds that balance dark fruit and savoury, peppery notes with a lively, food-friendly structure. Domaine Courbis is a family estate based in Châteaubourg, run by brothers Dominique and Laurent Courbis, farming vineyards across both Saint-Joseph and neighbouring Cornas with a strong focus on site expression.

This is a polished, food-friendly red suited to grilled meats, lamb or rustic French cooking.
