Domaine des Aubuisières Vouvray 'Le Marigny' Sec is a dry white wine from the Loire Valley, a pure expression of Chenin Blanc from one of Vouvray's benchmark estates.

Vouvray, on the Loire's north bank near Tours, is renowned for Chenin Blanc grown on clay-flint and clay-limestone soils over a base of tuffeau limestone, conditions that give the variety both weight and taut acidity. Domaine des Aubuisières was built into one of the appellation's most respected addresses by Bernard Fouquet, who farmed the estate's Chenin Blanc across a range of terroirs to produce styles from bone-dry to lusciously sweet; the domaine is now continued by Charles Lesaffre, maintaining the same meticulous, terroir-focused philosophy.

As a Sec-style Vouvray, this is a dry, mineral, food-friendly white, well suited to seafood, poultry and lighter, fresh-flavoured dishes.
