Domaine Font de Michelle Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 'La Réserve' 2024

Domaine Font de Michelle Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 'La Réserve' is a rich white cuvée from one of the appellation's most established family estates.

The Gonnet family has farmed land in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since the 1880s, when Jean Étienne Gonnet first planted vines on what is now the Font de Michelle estate, named for a spring found on the property. Today run by Guillaume Gonnet, the domaine farms organically across the appellation's classic terroirs, including the galet-strewn La Crau plateau and the sandier Croix de Bois, where the mistral wind and long Mediterranean summers concentrate flavour. While Châteauneuf-du-Pape is celebrated chiefly for its reds, the estate's smaller parcels of white varieties, led by Grenache Blanc, produce structured, age-worthy whites that reflect the same care given to its better-known red cuvées.
