Domaine Hubert & Laurent Lignier Bourgogne Rouge 'Symbiose' (Organic) is the entry-level, certified-organic red from this respected Morey-Saint-Denis estate, offering a pure, terroir-focused introduction to Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.

Domaine Hubert & Laurent Lignier traces its roots to 1885, when Jacques Lignier began replanting phylloxera-damaged vineyards in Morey-Saint-Denis; the estate passed through succeeding generations before Hubert Lignier took charge in 1959 and began estate-bottling in 1973. His son Laurent joined in 2004 and has since guided the domaine to full organic certification, achieved in 2019 after farming without synthetic chemicals since 2006, working the soil by hand and drawing on old vines across its Côte de Nuits holdings in Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Clos de la Roche.

Made with the same care as the domaine's grander crus, this is a pure, honest expression of Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir, equally at home at the everyday table or alongside classic Burgundian fare such as roast poultry and soft cheeses.
