Description

Domaine Hubert & Laurent Lignier Morey-Saint-Denis is the estate's home-village red, made from vines grown around the commune where the Lignier family has been based since the 19th century.

Morey-Saint-Denis sits between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny on the Côte de Nuits, its wines often described as combining the structure of the former with the perfume of the latter. Domaine Hubert & Laurent Lignier, founded in 1885 and today guided jointly by father and son, farms its Morey-Saint-Denis vineyards without synthetic chemicals, working old vines through massal selection and a patient, hands-off approach in the cellar.

A pure, terroir-transparent expression of the domaine's home appellation, it is a versatile match for a wide range of savoury dishes.
