Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône 2024

Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône is the entry point into the Jamet range, a Syrah-based red made in the same meticulous style as the estate's celebrated Côte-Rôtie.

The fruit for this wine is drawn from vineyards outside the boundaries of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, on granite and schist soils along the Rhône typical of the northern part of the valley. Domaine Jamet, run today by Jean-Paul Jamet together with his children, applies the same hands-on, low-intervention approach here as across the rest of the estate, hand-harvesting and vinifying the fruit with care despite the wine's more modest appellation.

It's a bright, approachable red, well suited to everyday drinking with charcuterie, roast vegetables or simple weeknight meals.
