Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône Équivoque 2023

Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône Équivoque is a distinctive Syrah-based cuvée from Domaine Jamet, made in a fresher, more immediate style than the estate's Côte-Rôtie bottlings.

The fruit is sourced from vineyards outside the Côte-Rôtie appellation, on the granite and schist slopes typical of the northern Rhône. Domaine Jamet, run today by Jean-Paul Jamet together with his children, brings the same painstaking, low-intervention winemaking to this cuvée as to its flagship wines, though Équivoque is vinified and matured with an emphasis on freshness and drinkability rather than long-term cellaring.

It's a vibrant, fruit-forward red, ideal for casual meals and enjoyable with a slight chill in warmer weather.
