Description
Domaine Perrot-Minot Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is a village-level red Burgundy from an appellation renowned for producing some of the most fragrant, elegant Pinot Noir in Burgundy.
Domaine Perrot-Minot is based in Morey-Saint-Denis, in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, where the family has farmed vines across four generations. Christophe Perrot-Minot, who took over the estate in the 1990s, reshaped its winemaking from the 2006 vintage onward, moving away from heavy extraction toward a gentler, more transparent style that favours finesse over power. Farming across the domaine's holdings is meticulous and yields are kept low, with only a modest proportion of new oak used in the cellar, allowing each appellation's character to come through clearly.
A graceful, perfumed style of red Burgundy, this suits lighter fare and more contemplative drinking occasions.
