Domaine Perrot-Minot Griotte-Chambertin MAGNUM 2022

Domaine Perrot-Minot Griotte-Chambertin Magnum is a grand cru red Burgundy from one of the smallest grand cru vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, lying alongside Chambertin-Clos de Bèze in the heart of the appellation's grand cru slope.

Domaine Perrot-Minot farms a remarkable collection of grand cru terroir in the Côte de Nuits from its base in Morey-Saint-Denis, the result of four generations of family landholding. Since Christophe Perrot-Minot took over the estate, he has steered it toward a lighter, more precise style of winemaking, using minimal extraction and restrained new oak so that the character of each individual grand cru vineyard can express itself rather than being overlaid with a house style. Farming across these top sites is exacting and yields are kept deliberately modest, in keeping with the seriousness the appellations demand.

Bottled in magnum for extended cellaring, this is a wine for genuine special occasions and long, leisurely meals.
