Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils Chablis Grand Cru 'Vaudésir' is a Chardonnay from Vaudésir, one of Chablis's seven grand cru climats, bottled here in magnum.

Vaudésir sits on the right bank's grand cru hillside above the town of Chablis, its steep, well-exposed Kimmeridgian limestone slopes giving the wines a distinctive richness within the grand cru style. The vineyard is farmed by Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils, a Gautherin family estate based in the village of Chablis with roots stretching back centuries, today run by Alain and Adrien Gautherin. The domaine tends parcels across all four tiers of the Chablis appellation, working the land in a rigorous, reasoned and sustainable way to let the region's distinctive limestone terroir speak for itself.

A rich, age-worthy expression of grand cru Chablis, the larger magnum format is ideal for slower cellaring and for sharing on special occasions.
