Domaine Séguinot-Bordet Chablis 1er Cru 'Vaillons' 2024

Domaine Séguinot-Bordet Chablis 1er Cru 'Vaillons' is a classified single-vineyard Chardonnay from one of Chablis's most historic family estates.

The Bordet family has farmed vines around Maligny, just north of the town of Chablis, since at least 1590, and the domaine is now run by Jean-François Bordet under High Environmental Value certification, with no chemical treatments used in the vineyard. Vaillons is one of the largest and most respected Premier Cru climats on the left bank of the Serein, its south-east-facing limestone and marl slopes prized for wines of finesse and precision. In the cellar the estate keeps oak use minimal, resting the wine in horizontal stainless-steel tanks to maximise lees contact and sharpen its natural minerality.

A refined, terroir-driven white, it suits oysters, richer fish dishes and other occasions that call for a serious cru Chablis.
