Domaine Stéphane Magnien Chambolle-Musigny 'Aux Athées' Vieilles Vignes is a Pinot Noir from a parcel of old vines within one of the Côte de Nuits' most celebrated villages.

Aux Athées is a lieu-dit within the Chambolle-Musigny appellation, first planted in the early twentieth century; Domaine Stéphane Magnien has continued to nurture these old vines, replacing individual plants only as needed to preserve the parcel's age and character. The domaine, based nearby in Morey-Saint-Denis, farms sustainably and without pesticides, favouring a gentle, traditional approach that lets the gravelly soils and old-vine fruit express themselves. Chambolle-Musigny is regarded as one of Burgundy's most refined appellations, prized for the perfume and silkiness of its Pinot Noir.
