Description

Domaine Vincent Girardin Mâcon-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is a white Burgundy from the Mâconnais, the southernmost and warmest of Burgundy's Chardonnay-growing districts.

The Mâcon-Fuissé appellation surrounds the village of Fuissé in the southern Mâconnais, an area known for its limestone hillsides and a milder climate than the Côte d'Or further north, which typically yields riper, more approachable Chardonnay. Old vines (vieilles vignes) add extra depth and fruit concentration. Domaine Vincent Girardin, headquartered in Meursault in the Côte de Beaune, extends its range south into the Mâconnais to offer wines that reflect this warmer, sunnier corner of Burgundy.

An easy-drinking, approachable white Burgundy, well suited to everyday seafood and lighter dishes.
