Domaine Yves Leccia Altru Biancu’ Île de Beauté IGP Blanc is a pure and expressive white wine from Corsica, made from 100% Biancu Gentile—an ancient native grape that Yves Leccia helped revive. Bright and brilliant in appearance with a light yellow hue, this organic wine offers a fragrant nose of white blossom, yellow stone fruit, and hints of Corsican maquis. The palate is smooth and elegant with a lively acidity and a mineral, saline edge that speaks to its Mediterranean terroir.

Recipe

Fiadone (Corsican Lemon Cheesecake)

Ingredients:

  • 500g brocciu or ricotta cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 150g sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. In a bowl, whisk together cheese, sugar, lemon zest, juice, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
  2. Pour into a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  3. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and set. Let cool completely.
  4. Serve chilled with a glass of Domaine Yves Leccia Altru Biancu' for a refreshing Corsican finish.
