Domaines Schlumberger Pinot Gris Grands Crus Kessler 2023

Domaines Schlumberger Kessler Pinot Gris is a Grand Cru wine from the steep slopes above Guebwiller.

Kessler's sheltered, south-facing amphitheatre on sandstone gives Pinot Gris real weight and smoky depth, which is why Alsace treats the variety as one of its four noble grapes alongside Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Muscat. Schlumberger holds large parcels in four of the region's Grands Crus and farms biodynamically.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast pork, foie gras or a strong cheese. It develops over a decade.
