Recipe

Tagliata di Manzo con Rucola e Grana (Sliced Steak with Rocket and Parmesan)

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef sirloin steak
  • 2 cups fresh rocket (arugula)
  • 50g shaved Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat a grill or skillet over high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  3. Arrange the rocket on a serving platter and top with the sliced steak and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
