Giant Steps Primavera Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024

Giant Steps Primavera Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from a single site in the Upper Yarra Valley.

Primavera lies in the cooler upper reaches of the valley, planted on grey loam over clay at altitude, which gives a later harvest and a finer-boned wine than the warmer valley floor. Giant Steps keeps each vineyard separate through the cellar so the differences between them stay visible. Fermentation uses native yeast with a share of whole bunches, and the wine matures in French oak with little new wood.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, veal or roast beetroot. It rewards eight years.
