Giovanni Rosso Barolo DOCG Cerretta 2021

Giovanni Rosso Barolo Cerretta comes from one of the best-known crus on the Serralunga ridge.

Cerretta sits high on the eastern side of Serralunga d'Alba, exposed to the south and east on pale calcareous marl, and gives wines of real power that take years to open. Serralunga's soils are older and poorer than those of La Morra or Barolo village, which is why its wines are the most structured in the zone. The wine is fermented with native yeast and aged in large oak before release.

Decant well ahead and serve at 17 degrees with braised meats, game or aged Parmigiano. It rewards twenty-five years.
