Description

Grounded Cru Cabernet Sauvignon is a red from McLaren Vale in South Australia, here in magnum.

McLaren Vale lies south of Adelaide between the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Gulf St Vincent. The sea keeps the summers temperate, and the region's mix of sand, clay and ironstone soils has made it one of Australia's most reliable sources of red wine. Cabernet Sauvignon ripens fully here while keeping its structure. The magnum format allows slower ageing in the cellar.

It suits roast lamb, grilled steak and hard cheeses; serve at around 18 degrees.
