Description

HEAD Heart & Home is a Shiraz-based Barossa blend from the estate's working vineyards.

Alex Head works single sites across the Barossa floor and up into the Eden Valley, and a blend like this draws across them rather than isolating one. Shiraz leads, in the medium-weight, savoury style the label is known for rather than the richness the region often produces. Maturation is in older French oak, with the wine bottled without fining or filtration.

Serve at 16 degrees with grilled meats, lamb or a mushroom ragù. Drink over the next eight years.
