Henschke Julius Riesling 1.5L MAGNUM 2025

Henschke Julius is a dry Eden Valley Riesling from high-altitude vineyards on the ranges above the Barossa floor.

The Eden Valley sits several hundred metres higher than the Barossa, and its cooler nights and ancient, broken-quartz soils have made it one of Australia's two benchmark Riesling regions alongside Clare. The wine takes its name from Paul Gotthard Julius Henschke, of the family's third generation. Fruit is picked in the cool of the morning, pressed gently, fermented in stainless steel and bottled young without oak or malolactic fermentation, leaving the wine bone dry.

Serve at 8 degrees with fresh seafood, chicken salad or Vietnamese food. It will hold and develop for a decade.
