Henschke Percival's Mill Grüner Veltliner 2025

Henschke Percival's Mill is a Grüner Veltliner grown in the Adelaide Hills, one of very few Australian bottlings of the Austrian variety.

Grüner Veltliner is the most planted grape in Austria and suits cool, elevated sites, which is why the Adelaide Hills, sitting well above the surrounding plains with reliable rainfall, has become its main Australian home. Henschke planted it at Lenswood, where the family has held vineyards since the 1980s, alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wine is fermented cool in stainless steel, kept dry and bottled without oak to hold on to the variety's white-pepper edge.

Serve at 10 degrees with schnitzel, pork belly or green vegetables. Drink over the next four years.
