Inama Carbonare Soave Classico 2023

Inama Carbonare is a single-vineyard Soave Classico from one of the highest sites on Monte Foscarino.

Soave Classico covers the old hillside heart of the appellation east of Verona, where dark basalt soils from extinct volcanoes retain water and give Garganega its texture. The Carbonare vineyard sits high on the volcanic rock, and its name refers to the charcoal-black soil. Inama was established in the 1960s and is now run by the second and third generations. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and held on lees.

Serve at 11 degrees with risotto, white fish or fried vegetables. It develops over six years.
