Kahiwi Cuvée Madeline Pinot Noir 2021

Kahiwi Cuvée Madeline is a Pinot Noir from Central Otago, the world's southernmost wine region.

Central Otago is the only part of New Zealand with a continental climate: hot days, cold nights and a short, intense season on schist and glacial soils, which gives Pinot Noir dark fruit and firm structure. The region has gone from a handful of experimental plantings in the 1980s to the country's most celebrated Pinot Noir country.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or mushroom dishes. It develops over eight years.
