La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2023

La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay comes from the cool, fog-bound western edge of Sonoma County.

The Sonoma Coast appellation runs from the Pacific inland, and morning fog pushing through the gaps in the coastal range keeps the vineyards cold well into the day, which slows ripening and holds acidity in Chardonnay. La Crema was founded in 1979 and built its name on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from these cool sites. The wine is barrel-fermented and matured on lees, with malolactic fermentation used in part for texture.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, crab or a creamy pasta. Drink over the next five years.
