La Crema Willamette Pinot Noir 2021

La Crema Willamette Pinot Noir comes from Oregon, well north of the winery's California home.

The Willamette Valley sits at the same latitude as Burgundy, with volcanic Jory soils and marine sedimentary ground, cool wet springs and dry late summers, which is why it has become America's most convincing Pinot Noir region. La Crema extended north from Sonoma to work with it. The wine is fermented in small lots and matured in French oak.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, mushroom dishes or roast pork. Drink over the next eight years.
