Lark Hill Estate Marsanne 2022

Lark Hill Estate Marsanne is a rare cool-climate take on the northern Rhône white variety.

Marsanne is grown in Australia mostly in warmer Victorian districts, where it gives a broad, honeyed wine; at 860 metres in the Canberra District it comes out tighter and more mineral. Lark Hill has been certified biodynamic since 2003. The wine is fermented with native yeast and matured on lees, with restrained use of oak.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, pork or a washed-rind cheese. It develops over six years.
