Louis Jadot Bourgogne Aligoté 2024

Louis Jadot Bourgogne Aligoté is made from Burgundy's other white grape, grown alongside Chardonnay for centuries.

Aligoté ripens later and keeps sharper acidity than Chardonnay, which historically made it the everyday white of the region and the base of a kir. Better sites and lower yields have lifted its reputation considerably in the past decade. Jadot draws fruit from across the Côte and ferments cool in tank, without oak, so the wine stays taut and citrus-driven.

Serve at 9 degrees with oysters, snails or a goat's cheese salad. Drink within three years.
