Description

Louis Jadot Le Vaucrain is a Côte de Nuits-Villages red from the northern end of the Côte de Nuits.

Côte de Nuits-Villages covers the communes at either end of the côte that have no village appellation of their own, including Fixin and Brochon in the north, where the wines are firmer and less perfumed than Gevrey but considerably better value. Jadot ferments with native yeast and matures in French oak with little new wood.

Serve at 16 degrees with roast beef, duck or hard cheese. Drink over the next eight years.
