Louis Jadot Mâcon-Villages Grange Magnien 2023

Louis Jadot Grange Magnien is a Mâcon-Villages Chardonnay from southern Burgundy.

The Mâconnais runs south from the Côte Chalonnaise towards Beaujolais, warmer than the Côte d'Or and planted almost entirely to Chardonnay, which gives rounder, earlier-drinking whites. Jadot has held vineyards here for decades. The wine is fermented mostly in stainless steel, with little or no oak, to keep the fruit direct.

Serve at 11 degrees with fish, chicken or a creamy pasta. Drink within four years.
