Louis Roederer Vintage Brut is declared only in the stronger years, from the house's own vineyards.

Roederer owns around two hundred and forty hectares in Champagne, which is rare among the great houses and means its vintage wines come almost entirely from estate fruit rather than purchased grapes. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically. A vintage Champagne must come from a single harvest and age at least three years before release; Roederer holds its considerably longer.

Serve at 9 degrees with roast poultry, veal or a mature cheese. It develops over fifteen years.
