Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship of one of Margaret River's founding estates, from vines planted in 1969.

Moss Wood was the fourth vineyard planted in Margaret River, on gravelly loam at Wilyabrup, and its Cabernet is regarded as one of the benchmarks for the variety in Australia. The maritime climate, with the Indian Ocean on both sides of the cape, gives a long even season. Keith Mugford has made the wine since 1979. It is fermented in small open vessels and matured in French oak.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with roast lamb, aged beef or hard cheese. It rewards twenty years.
