Description
Nanny Goat Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from Central Otago, the world's southernmost wine region.
Central Otago is the only part of New Zealand with a continental rather than maritime climate: hot days, cold nights and a short, intense season, which gives Pinot Noir dark fruit and firm structure. The winery takes its name from the wild goats that roam the Queensberry hills where its vineyard sits. Fruit is hand-picked, fermented with some whole bunches and matured in French oak.
Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or mushroom dishes. Drink over the next eight years.
