Description

Nick O'Leary Heywood Shiraz comes from a single vineyard in the Canberra District hills.

Canberra District Shiraz is the region's calling card: peppery, medium-bodied and often co-fermented with Viognier, a style established at Clonakilla and now followed by a generation of growers including Nick O'Leary, who began his label in 2007. The Heywood site is bottled on its own. Fermentation includes whole bunches, with French oak maturation.

Serve at 16 degrees with lamb, duck or charcuterie. It rewards ten years.
