Nicole Lamarche Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Monts Luisants is the first vintage of this cuvée, made under her négociant label.

Nicole Lamarche has built her name on the family's Vosne-Romanée holdings, and in recent years has extended her range through a small négociant business, buying fruit from growers she knows and applying the same delicate, terroir-driven approach. This is her first wine from Morey-Saint-Denis. Monts Luisants is a climat split across three classifications, its lower part falling within the Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, while the Premier Cru section sits higher on the slope towards Gevrey. That upper ground is cold and very rocky, and it has long been associated with wines of finesse and aromatic complexity rather than weight, which suits her style well. The result is a lifted, floral wine with ripe berry fruit and gentle spice, silky tannins and clear mineral freshness.

Drinking well from release and good for eight to ten years. Serve at 16-18°C with roast duck, mushroom dishes or a mild washed-rind cheese.
