Description

Oliver's Taranga Falanghina is a rare Australian bottling of an ancient Campanian white variety.

Falanghina is thought to be one of the grapes behind Falernum, the most prized wine of Roman antiquity, and it still grows across southern Italy giving a citrus-driven white with firm acidity. Almost no one in Australia has planted it. The Olivers have been farming at Taranga since 1841 and have turned increasingly to Mediterranean varieties.

Serve at 10 degrees with grilled fish, antipasti or a light pasta. Drink within four years.
