Pio Cesare Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2022

Pio Cesare Langhe Nebbiolo comes from the same hills as the house's Barolo and Barbaresco, released younger.

The Langhe appellation allows producers to bottle Nebbiolo from Barolo and Barbaresco land without the long ageing the senior wines require, which gives a lighter, more immediate version of the variety at a much lower price. Pio Cesare has worked these hills since 1881. The wine is fermented with native yeast and aged briefly in oak.

Serve at 16 degrees with pasta, roast pork or salumi. Drink over the next six years.
