Quinta de Chocapalha Mar de Lisboa Tinto is an easy-drinking red from one of the Lisboa region's most respected family estates.

Quinta de Chocapalha lies near Alenquer, west of Lisbon, on a property that has belonged to the Tavares da Silva family for decades. Winemaking is overseen by Sandra Tavares da Silva, one of Portugal's most acclaimed winemakers, also known for her work with Wine & Soul in the Douro. The estate's vineyards benefit from cooling Atlantic breezes and a mix of clay and limestone soils typical of Lisboa, giving its wines real freshness alongside ripe, generous fruit. The Mar de Lisboa range takes its name from the ocean's influence and is crafted from a co-planted field blend of local red varieties.

This is a soft, approachable red, well suited to roast meats, hard cheeses and everyday dining.
