Rising Chardonnay 2024

Rising Chardonnay is grown in the cool Yarra Valley in Victoria.

Chardonnay ripens slowly in the Yarra and holds its acidity, which is why the valley has been Australia's reference point for the variety since the 1980s. The wine is barrel-fermented in part and matured on lees, in a restrained rather than a rich style.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a soft cheese. Drink over the next five years.
