Sa Raja Cannonau di Sardegna is made from the Sardinian name for Grenache.

Cannonau is Grenache, and Sardinians argue the variety originated on the island rather than in Spain, a claim supported by vine remains dated to well before Aragonese rule. It gives a warm, herbal red with soft tannin, grown across the island's granite and limestone hills. Cannonau di Sardegna covers the whole island.

Serve at 16 degrees with roast lamb, grilled meats or hard cheese. Drink over the next six years.
