Description

Scalzi Barossa Shiraz is a red from the Barossa Valley in South Australia.

The Barossa lies north east of Adelaide and is Australia's most famous Shiraz region. It was settled in the 1840s and still has some of the oldest productive vines in the world. Warm, dry summers give ripe, generous reds with soft tannins, the style that made the region's name.

It suits barbecued meats, slow-cooked beef, sausages and hard cheeses; serve at around 18 degrees.
