Shadowfax Geelong Chardonnay 2025

Shadowfax Geelong Chardonnay comes from the cool maritime country west of Port Phillip Bay.

Geelong's vineyards sit close to the water on volcanic and limestone soils, with strong winds off the bay keeping yields low and ripening slow. The region was one of Victoria's earliest wine districts before phylloxera wiped it out in the 1870s, and was only replanted from the 1960s. The wine is barrel-fermented and matured on lees.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a creamy pasta. It develops over six years.
