Shadowfax Minnow Grenache Mataro 2023

Shadowfax Minnow Grenache Mataro is a Mediterranean-variety blend from the Port Phillip zone.

The Minnow range is where Shadowfax works outside the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that dominate its cool-climate sites, using southern French varieties in a lighter, early-drinking style. Grenache brings red fruit and perfume, Mataro, the Australian name for Mourvèdre, the structure. The wine sees little new oak.

Serve slightly cool at 15 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken or grilled vegetables. Drink within five years.
