Swinging Bridge #006 Tempinot 2024

Swinging Bridge #006 Tempinot blends Tempranillo with Pinot Noir, a pairing almost no one else attempts.

The name is a contraction of the two varieties. It belongs to the Hashtag Series, Tom Ward's outlet for wines that stretch the conventions of blending, alongside the estate's more classical range. Orange's altitude, up to 900 metres around Mount Canobolas, keeps both grapes light-footed, so the blend comes out fresh rather than heavy. Fermentation is in small open vessels with minimal oak.

Serve slightly cool at 15 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken or a mushroom dish. Drink within five years.
