The Pawn El Desperado Shiraz 2020

The Pawn El Desperado Shiraz is a cool-climate Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills.

Shiraz grown at Hills altitude comes out peppery and medium-bodied rather than rich, closer to the northern Rhône than to the Barossa an hour's drive north. The El Desperado range sits at the accessible end of the winery's chess-themed line-up. Maturation is in seasoned French oak.

Serve at 16 degrees with lamb, charcuterie or grilled vegetables. Drink over the next six years.
