The Pawn El Desperado Tempranillo 2025

The Pawn El Desperado Tempranillo comes from Langhorne Creek, south-east of Adelaide.

Langhorne Creek sits on the floodplain of the Bremer River near Lake Alexandrina, where afternoon lake breezes cool the vineyards and stretch out ripening. Tempranillo suits it, ripening early and keeping structure without high alcohol. The region has long supplied blending material to larger companies and is less known under its own name than it deserves.

Serve at 16 degrees with chorizo, lamb or a slow-cooked stew. Drink over the next six years.
