Tyrrell's Blanc De Blancs 2018

Tyrrell's Blanc de Blancs is a traditional-method sparkling made entirely from Chardonnay.

A blanc de blancs is made from white grapes alone, and the Hunter's Chardonnay, picked early for this purpose, keeps the acidity the style needs despite the region's warmth. Tyrrell's planted Australia's first commercial Chardonnay in 1971, which gives the house a long history with the variety. The wine is bottle-fermented and left on lees for several years before disgorgement.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif or with oysters and fried food. Drink on release.
