Description

Tyrrell's Estate Grown Chardonnay comes from the family's own Hunter Valley vineyards at Pokolbin.

Tyrrell's planted Australia's first commercial Chardonnay in 1971 in the Hunter, and the region's style is built on early picking and restraint rather than weight. The Estate Grown range draws only on the family's own holdings. The fruit is whole-bunch pressed and fermented with a portion in French oak, with the rest in tank to keep the wine fresh.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, pork or a creamy pasta. Drink over the next six years.
