Wine & Soul Manoella Branco 375ml Halves 2024

Wine & Soul Manoella Branco, offered here in 375ml half bottles, is a textured, food-friendly white from one of the Douro's most acclaimed small producers.

Wine & Soul was founded in 2001 by husband-and-wife team Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, both trained winemakers with deep roots in the Douro. In 2009 the couple acquired Quinta da Manoella, a historic property dating to 1838 with vineyards over a century old, and the Manoella range takes its name from this estate. Farmed with minimal intervention and made from a traditional co-planted field blend of old-vine Douro varieties, the wine reflects the schist terraces and steep, sun-baked slopes of the Pinhão Valley, one of the heartlands of the wider Douro region.

This half-bottle format is a lovely, textural white, perfectly portioned for smaller gatherings, seafood, poultry and lighter, fresh-flavoured dishes.
