Wine & Soul Vinha do Altar Branco is a white field blend from the Douro Valley, drawing on old vineyard sites more commonly associated with the region's reds.

Vinha do Altar is one of the vineyard projects of Wine & Soul, the estate founded in 2001 by Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges in Portugal's Pinhão Valley. As with their red wines, the couple favour old, co-planted vineyards where a mix of native varieties grow together, a traditional Douro approach they apply equally to white grapes. Their winemaking philosophy centres on letting terroir lead, with a gentle touch in the cellar preserving the freshness and character of the fruit.
